Frequently Asked Question

If your wedding is on a Saturday, you have the barns from Friday morning to start decorating them (Thursday can be arranged too), and you have until Sunday afternoon to empty the barns. We clear all the rubbish so you just have to take down your decorations. You have the accommodation and camping field for  Saturday evening and Friday evening on request if needed. If your wedding is on a Tuesday, you have the barns from Monday morning to set up, and until Wednesday evening to clear away.

We ask for 15% of the fee to confirm your booking. After this you pay half one year ahead and the remaining balance to be paid 6 months prior to the wedding.

For the venue hire price you will get use of the fields, barns (which will come with drapes, lighting and stage), toilets and showers, accommodation, our bar service. You will also get use of any props we have such as hay bales, cable reels and decorations.

If you want furniture we also have a suggested supplier and this cost will depend on how many guests you want seated.

The use of amplified music is permitted until 11.00pm and disco music until 12 pm. We ask that if campers are staying Friday evening they do not have loud music on.

There are 2 drinks options:

  1. We can provide a cash bar with reasonable prices and an excellent selection of beers, wines and spirits.  We serve all drinks in plastic glasses for safety reasons for the animals on the farm. However you are welcome to use actual glasses for the reception and toast. We no longer offer corkage as an option.
  2. You can also run a free bar by having a prepaid tab with us, in which case staff and bar space are included.

We provide welcome drinks packages – please enquire.

We have plenty of space on site for caterers to set up a catering marquee or gazebo or serve from inside the barns. We had had a full range of catering companies here from pizza pods, to a full 3 course sit down hot meal. We can accommodate most catering needs and discuss this with your chosen catering company. We have running water and electric points for caterers although an extension lead is often needed. Caterers must take their own waste home.

Yes! You can now get married on site! Please book this through a registrar.

However we still recommend humanist ceremonies if you prefer a more personal and relaxed feel!

Yes we have a wonderful field for camping with stunning views. We also have a local supplier for belle tents should you wish to hire some for a belle tent village. Deepdale Farm is the perfect site for a real festival vibe where all your guests can be on one site. Campervans and caravans are also welcome but we do not have electric hook ups. We do have running water to the field. We ask all campers to please take their own rubbish home and to have no glass on the campsite.

Your catering company should supply staff for serving food and clear up. However if you require extra staff for on the day clear up, or for rearranging the ceremony barn etc we can do this for £10 an hour.

It must be noted we are a DIY venue and as such we are responsible for any problems with the venue but we are not a wedding planning company. If you are concerned about the smooth running of your day, for things like timings, lighting candles etc we suggest hiring an on the day coordinator for who we can make suggestions.
